The 3-aryl-3-oxypropylamine is clearly a privileged scaffold for interacting with cerebral amines uptake and binding. Fluoxetine (Prozac®) was the first selective serotonin uptake inhibitor to reach the market for antidepressant therapy. Small structural changes of the substitution pattern have significant effects on the pharmacology. This library proposes new ways of exploring this structure. |
