Our offices and our laboratory are located at the Parc Biocitech in Romainville, in the close proximity of Paris. We use four automatic platforms for the different steps of our production (Mettler Toledo, Tecans, Zinsser). We have a Waters Micromass LC/MS for the analysis step. We can synthesize about 100 compounds a day.
Philippe Jean, CEO, is an informatics engineer. He was CEO of CEMSI from 1989 to 1999. In 2000 he became head of informatics at the Rueil-Malmaison site of Cerep. In 2001, he became head of the robotic platform for the production of libraries.
Romuald Baudelle, CSO, is a chemical engineer (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris). He obtained his Ph.D. in organic and macromolecular chemistry in Lille, France, in 1999 under the supervision of Pr. André Tartar. In 2000, he occupied a post-doctoral position at Duke University, NC, under the supervision of Pr. M. Pirrung. He joined the chemistry group of Cerep in 2001 and worked in the conception of libraries. In 2004 he became head of the library group.
We decided to create CHEM-X-INFINITY to propose high level quality compounds and new approaches in the design of chemical libraries.
